Working closely with UArts President David Yager & Mural Artist Melinda Beck I designed ceramic tiles that live in the brand new UArts Cafe. The goal of the University was to create a space that showcased student artist’s personal style & to show off the cafe’s main attraction: Saxby’s coffee! I combined my personal affinity for all things buggy with coffee beans and pulled colors from the coffee roasting process. After two years of working with manufacturers, architects, & various design teams the tiles were finally installed in the Summer of 2023 and will be a permanent fixture of the space for years to come.
